Don Plok, is a producer, DJ and Argentine percussionist who has developed a deep fusion between African rhythms and tropical beats. He used this aesthetically pleasing combo in different styles like "tropical jungle" and digital cumbia. In one of the facets of his hybrid style, he is currently finishing an album called "Kambarangá", more inspired by the downtempo and the influence of African sounds in litoraleño folklore, taking traditional rhythms to fuse them with electronics. "Djemufoli" is the first excerpt of this album, interpreting a rhythm of Burkina Faso that he studied with the maestro Harouna Dembelé, respecting the rhythms but using midi sounds and samples. He is the resident DJ and founder of Guateque Soundz collective, label and party based in Buenos Aires' zona Sur.
